The brief

Chair Airlines arrived with a precise need. A uniform programme that read as Swiss without saying so. Modern, restrained, never trying to look it. And a piece of in-flight footwear that did not exist in any catalogue. The scale problem was specific. A full fleet, without losing the detail that gives a uniform its quiet authority.

Approach

We worked from the silhouette in, beginning with material. Wools and cottons, selected for cabin pressure and long-haul movement, and tuned to the exact red of Chair's brand. The footwear was a separate project. A low-top sneaker with the airline's mark cut into the sole, the soles tinted in corporate red and blue. Every piece was sampled on the bench, fitted, then refined again before any production cut was approved. Production ran inside the named partner workshops in Porto, on the contract Chair had signed.

Outcome
  • Cabin crew · pilots · ground · footwear
  • Made in Porto · named partner workshops
  • The airline’s mark cut into every sole
  • In fleet
"A uniform isn’t a costume. It’s the brand at thirty thousand feet."
